Film submission
The call for entries for the 14th edition of Go Short is now closed, submissions are no longer accepted. The call for the 15th edition of Go Short will be announced shortly.

Go Short Arnhem 2022
Go Short Arnhem is een evenement van Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen en
vindt plaats in het najaar van 2022 in Arnhem. In samenwerking met Gelders DOEK wordt de Gelders
Kort competitie gepresenteerd. Hiervoor zijn wij op zoek naar recente korte films uit Gelderland.
Films in deze competitie zullen draaien op Go Short Arnhem, en maken kans op de Gouden Hert
awards uitgereikt op het festival.
We zijn zowel op zoek naar onafhankelijke werk als opdrachtfilms. We accepteren korte films in alle
categorieën (live-action, animatie, documentaire en kunstfilm), muziekvideo’s en installaties.
Films inzenden
De link naar het inzendformulier staat in de linker kolom op deze pagina. Alle films worden bekeken
door een professionele selectiecommissie. Inzendkosten bedragen €5,-, hiermee garanderen wij de
kwaliteit van de selectieprocedure. Zie hiervoor stap zes van het inschrijfformulier. De betaling is
enkel mogelijk middels PayPal.

This is the Submission Area of Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen.
It is now possible to submit your short film for the twelfth edition of Go Short, which will take place April 1-5, 2020. Please read our regulations for all the requirements.
European, Dutch and Student Competition
For the European Competition we accept short fiction, documentary, animation and art films that have been made in (geographical) Europe. The films are eligible for the Go Short Award for Best European Short in three different categories.
The Dutch Competition is a selection of films made in the Netherlands, from which the best film will be awarded with the Go Short Award for Best Dutch Short.
Go Short is a recognized film festival for the Academy Awards, the European Film Awards and the BAFTA.
The Student Competition will consist of short fiction, documentary, animation and art films made in European film schools. The best film will be awarded with an Encouragement Award. Go Short is recognized by the Student Academy Awards. Please find the rules here: https://www.oscars.org/saa/apply
Films in the European, Dutch and Student Competition are competing for the Audience Award.
Deadlines
- 1 September 2019 for films completed between 1 December 2018 and 1 June 2019
- 24 November 2019 for all films completed on or after 1 June 2019
- 22 December 2019 for films that have been completed in November or December 2019
Virtual Reality and Music Video Competition
Go Short accepts international VR-films and music videos for two competitions in their respective categories. More information can be found in the regulations.

Entry fee
The film you submit is being viewed by professional curators and programmers. In order to ensure the quality of the selection process we charge a submission fee. For the European, Dutch and Student Competition the submission fee is 9,50 euro per film. For the Virtual Reality and Music Video Competition the submission fee is 7,00 euro per film. The payment is done through PayPal.
